Basilica and tower are generally open simultaneously. The Basilica can be visited free of charge and for this a booklet with a brief history and guided tour is available on loan.

The basilica can sometimes, contrary to the fixed opening times, be temporarily closed due to activities such as a funeral or organ tuning. A funeral is not published on the website!

The summer opening from 1 April to 1 November

Closed all day Monday and Tuesday morning. Tuesday afternoon open 13.30 to 4.30 pm. Wednesday to Saturday open all day   11.00 am to 16.30 pm
During the May, summer and autumn holidays we are open Monday afternoon from 13.30 to 16.30, Tuesday to Saturday open all day from 11.00 to 16.30

Sat: 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm

Christmas holiday and spring break
Mon-Fri 11:00 am to 3:30 pm

The Basilica and Peperbus tower are closed for viewing on Sundays and public holidays.

Up to 4 years free.

Group tours in the Basilica can be arranged upon request. A tour takes approximately one hour. A group can be a maximum of 20 people and the costs for a group tour are € 40,00. Larger groups are split into several groups. On request, a shorter tour of half an hour can be given. The rate is then € 25,00. To this end, contact can be made with info@basiliekzwolle.nl
