Basilica and tower are generally open simultaneously. The Basilica can be visited free of charge and for this a booklet with a brief history and guided tour is available on loan.
The basilica can sometimes, contrary to the fixed opening times, be temporarily closed due to activities such as a funeral or organ tuning. A funeral is not published on the website!
The summer opening from 1 April to 1 November

Tues-Sat: 11:00 am – 4:30 pm
Winter opening Nov. 1 until 1 April
Mon-Fri: 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm
Sat: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
The Basilica and Peperbus tower are closed for viewing on Sundays and public holidays.
A maximum of one person – or several people belonging to one household – can climb the tower per reservation.
The basilica keeper can ask for confirmation of your reservation.
The duration of the climb is a maximum of 40 minutes.

Have you had a cold – coughing – snotty – feverish – or is there someone sick within your family? STAY AT HOME.
Select the period of the reservation. Please be at the Basilica on time.
Before and after the climb, the hands should be cleaned with disinfectant spray.

To climb the tower, you have to make a reservation.
The tower is closed on the morning of 15th of august and on Heritage Day (12th September, the whole day).
Group tours in the Basilica can be arranged upon request. A tour takes approximately one hour. A group can be a maximum of 20 people and the costs for a group tour are € 35,00. Larger groups are split into several groups. On request, a shorter tour of half an hour can be given. The rate is then € 25,00.
